We've got curves!

Yes, I have curves... and a few extra ones too, want some? Oops. Wrong curves... moving onto sewing ones. ;)

It was pretty successful! I was very slow in sewing them. Two stitches, realign the piece, don't stretch it either, two more stitches, realign and on it goes. :P I didn't use any pins or tweezers or such. I didn't even clip either fabrics. I just gotta figure out how to do it faster than 2 stiches at a time. :)

Time to get sew busy... and maybe sneak a nap in. :D

Wow! They look perfectly flat. I tried doing the same with a couple of blocks to see how they will come out and the seam didn't quite lie flat. I just didn't have the patience to do 2 stitches at a time like you did.

Looks great! Isn't there some kind of special foot for curved piecing? Are you using that? I always avoid curved piecing but I may just have to try it some day.

Looks fantastic! Nice and evenly rounded. I can't stitch very fast when stitching these curves either! :)

don't worry. You'll get faster. Soon you'll figure out just how much you can pull or manuver the piece (without stretching it)!

You have the idea Leah! SLOW! I did a quilt a few years ago with curved seams. I didn't think I would enjoy doing it but I just moved along slowly and loved the results!

The very idea of curved seams makes me feel faint - these look really good.

Leah it is wonderful! I bet with more practice it just gets easier automatically! They look wonderful! And I have a lot of extra curves if you want mine!!!! :)

I just got the Crazy Curves book and set of templates. Haven't had a chance to try it yet! I think some speed with come with practice, although you'll probably not be able to sew them fast! Have fun :)
