The 100 yard pile

This post is just for Kim. :) She's been very eager to see all the fabric my mom and I dyed.

Actually, this isn't ALL the fabric, this is about 100 yards that we divided up. Because we had two different blues this time, we ended up with the largest pile of blue fabrics.

I already took a few pieces out, including all the 108" wide fabric for backings. The biggest quilt my mom has made was about 42" square. She's more than content with the 1-yard pieces.

Coming soon: I got half of my hair whacked off while at my parents. :)

Love the stash. The purples are heavenly. MaggieMoo loves purple. You'll get some great use out of the blues. There are a lot of variations that you can really play with and have fun.

very very nice.
I bought a midnight blue dye today I want to try.
I had called ahead to see if they sold indigo powder dyes as I wanted to try that- they said they had it and they said they had the pencils I wanted. Wonderful, went driving down and they had neither. Talk about being peeved.

Can't wait to see what you make- did you cut your nickels for next week's mystery????
