Fabric love

I picked up a copy of the lastest Quiltmaker magazine issue today. I was really drawn to the Winding Road pattern on page 20.

Upon closer inspection, I realized they were using an assortment of Connecting Thread's Country fabric lines - which have been my favorites. :) I'm working on another Pineapple Blossom quilt, just like the one I made for my 25th birthday. It'll be much bigger - queen sized. And it most certainly won't be done in 5 days like my other one!! :P

Perhaps I'll "rediscover" this pattern in a couple of months and make it after all.

Can't wait to see it...you know I loved that pineapple quilt!!! It was a really easy quilt to make, but it looked really complicated...everyone was really impressed with it when I showed them. LOL*

The winding road quilt looks awesome...love them colors ;)

popped by to say hello, its been a while. Love the greeting card idea, and you're right it won't get thrown away. I would love a trip up to Alaska one day, funny to see snow in August, when we're sweltering with the heat and humidity.

isn't that one beautiful! however I didn't know it was a certain collection I just thought it was scrap-oh-lishious ;)

I can seeyou making it. If nothing else just start making HSTs as your leader enders until you work up enough of them - I don't have the magazine in front of me right now but I'm guessing a few hundred are called for ;)

OH and you MUST order Triangulations!!!! they make HSTs a breeze!!! and I found my software at Connecting Threads for under $20 that included shipping! :)

Love from Texas! ~bonnie

love the pic of you and hubby in Alaska below ;) what a great family you have to be able to go and do *together* :)

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog! I have been visiting your blog for awhile now... you quilts are so pretty! You make me want to run out and buy some fabric! I don't envy you on the wisdom teeth! I had mine out a few years back, and it was awful!
