It's a new year

It's a new year, and I hope to be blogging back in full force! I've got a good reason, my mom has spent a week with me giving my sewing room an overhaul. :)

This quilt was given to the lady that runs the local breastfeeding support group. She was lamenting that the babies didn't have something to protect them from the wood floors... and I pulled up this cheerful quilt for her.
She also adores Caleb (her son is named Caleb too), and clearly Caleb finds her comfortable enough for a snooze. ;)

May you sew more stitches in 2011!

Leah, congratulations on the birth of Caleb. Sorry it's so late! I'm not sure how I missed your posts, but I sure did. Thought I'd let you know that Caleb was born the same day as my Sara. She was born at 9:31pm in 1989! Again congratulations, and enjoy your time with him. I can tell you from experience that it goes all too quickly!!

How sweet, looks like you are immersed in Mommy hood these days! Still finding time to quilt I hope!

I was going back through your posts on fabric dyeing Leah, and I know you're busy gal these days, but I was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased the P&B Textiles ready to dye cotton by the bolt that you mentioned in a post quite a while back. I am finding many resources for the Kona white PFD bolts, but you mentioned the colors seemed to absorb better with the P&B fabric. Thanks for any help you can offer!
